Hellooo!
I'm Kayleigh!
I'm an almost 40 (this July, send condolences!) Mum of 2, who loves Harry Potter, reading, travelling, and building businesses.
Along with running my fabulous VA agency COZ & Co, I run The VA Village - supporting both new and established Virtual Assistants who want to get out of miserable, unfulfilling 9-5s, who want more freedom, and who want to make money doing something that they love!
Outside of work, I window-shop holidays, real-life shop at TK Maxx, read - in the bath, the car, in bed, during tea-breaks, wherever I can - play games with my children (current favourite is Fortnite!), and drink copious cans of Diet Coke.
my story
(It's long, maybe make a cup of tea...)
I have always loved words. I read from a really young age, which meant that I was attempting Jilly Coopers by the time I was 11 😳 (now I know that it was hyperlexia, an early sign of Autism!)
Funnily enough, I was rubbish at English in school, until I had a few lessons with a private teacher and suddenly something clicked. From then on, I was either reading or writing, and loved doing it. I studied English Literature at A-Level, and have fond memories of my parents reading one of my critical essays and claiming it would get a D (or worse!) as they couldn’t understand it. Reader, that essay got full marks.
But I digress. I went on to take English Lit at Uni, and then promptly did NOTHING with it, as in 2009 we were in a recession, (another! do they ever end?) so it was a case of taking any job!

On completing my degree I joined a graduate scheme, giving me a brilliant grounding in all aspects of business strategy and development before I went on to work in retail management, first at Toys R Us, then Hobbycraft.
It was when I had my children that I realised that I didn't want to work 70 hour weeks or three weekends a month, so I went self-employed in 2014 and went to work for a PR agency, supporting with the day-to-day running of the business, plus public relations account management.
I spent five years working in PR, specialising in travel and tourism and securing amazing coverage, before COVID hit and decimated the entire travel industry.
In March 2020, just as lockdown hit, I lost my job. COZ PR (now COZ & Co!) was born a day later.

I spent a weekend building a website, designing my logo (which I still have today!), and working out my pricing and services etc.
The name COZ is an acronym for my husband and children's first names - sentimental to me, easy to remember, and a fantastic reminder of one of the main reasons I started this business - to be there for my family.
Initially, I offered general VA services to anyone, and got crickets back.
Then I niched into working with PR pros and was fully booked before I knew it.
I found that I was constantly giving advice to other VAs who wanted get fully booked, as well as new VAs who were just starting out and needing some support.
That was the start of my working with Virtual Assistants. I went on to gain my EMCC in coaching and mentoring, and eventually set up the membership.
My own diagnosis of Autism and ADHD in 2025 led me to learn as much as I could about both conditions, and specialise in supporting people with the same conditions, both through COZ & Co and The VA Village.
Since I first started in 2020 as COZ PR, the agency has evolved from just me charging £20 per hour, to a full service, VAT registered, limited company, working with clients globally, offering VA and visibility support to ADHD entrepreneurs.
Now I spend my working hours supporting the most incredible, creative, neurospicy clients, and mentoring other fantastic Virtual Assistants to grow successful, profitable businesses that they love.
